Dinner, but no movie + $6 Haircut

I've been pretty good with my expenses lately, so decided to treat myself to a traditional Argentinian "parrillada," or smoked meat-fest.  AI recommended one just down the street, so I went to La Estancia.

It was everything I expected, complete with ancient waiters in silly costumes -- with berets, no less!  I was too shy to ask them for a pic.

I got the half portion of lamb, blood sausage, and fries.  Even the half portion of lamb (only half of half is on my plate, the rest on a warming plate not shown) was too much.  But the lamb was tender and flavorful, the blood sausage rich and earthy, and the fries crispy.

If I had known the menu prices before going in, I wouldn't have.  It was a great meal, but at AR$42,900 ($30) it should have been!

All the men in BA have great haircuts.  I hesitated when I saw the teenage girl holding the sign "Corte Unisex 9000," but took a gamble, and was very happy with the result.  She even trimmed my ear hair!  She got a 25% tip :).
