Liberdade aka Japantown
Liberdade, the neighborhood just south of where I was staying, is known as São Paulo's "Japantown," although it should probably be called "Asia Town," since there's Chinese and Korean influence as well. Fun to walk around, lots of little shops, grocery stores, and restaurants (more about that later!), with hanging lantern street lights:

Just a nice planting outside a hotel:
Order 'n' pay outside, pick up food inside!
